Anaconda was designated an NPL site in 1983. Since then, numerous studies have been conducted to help quantify and qualify the contaminants of concern (COCs). Below are a series of synopsis from the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) outlining Anaconda health risks and the toxins being remediated.
ATSDR did a comprehensive analysis of citizen exposure to the remaining substances in Anaconda.
